The “Basic Literacy Skills Workshop,” organized by the Çorum Provincial Directorate of National Education in coordination with the Çorum Measurement and Evaluation Center, was held with the participation of teachers, academics, and educational stakeholders.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeliz BOLAT, a faculty member of the Child Development Department, attended the workshop on behalf of our department and met with field experts. During the sessions, practices and solution proposals aimed at improving students’ basic literacy skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and science were discussed.
It is planned that the recommendations obtained at the end of the workshop will be compiled into a report to contribute to the process of strengthening basic literacy skills in Çorum.
